Broken Social Scene was filming their music video for the song Skyline. I was working as a set dresser and graphic designer for the shoot. I was asked to design a logo for the Secret Society of Peanut Butter as well as a jar label for the Ultimate Butter Blend.
The logo was printed onto a poster and displayed at an alter during the society’s secret meeting. The jar of peanut butter was brought to the meeting and with the protagonists to a concert for the band Foreigner. Which they presented to the members of Foreigner as a sign of friendship. I was told that Kevin Drew, Broken Social Scene’s vocalist and the music video’s director, was such a fan of the poster he took it home to display in his studio.
